Dan Voll Trio (4/12/1990) on Performance
Bob
Dan Voll has been playing music his entire life. He was born in Baraboo, Wisconsin, and studied guitar in Los Angeles before coming to Rockford. On April 12th, 1990, the Dan Voll Trio played at the Big Cities Lounge, a long-time Rockford hot-spot that featured jazz and blues. The Big Cities Lounge gave Voll and his trio the chance to dig deep into their repertoire of standards and their takes on pop, latin, and other genres.
The Dan Voll Trio was made up of Dan Voll on guitar, David Cancelose on bass, and Richard Stamps on drums. The concert was recorded by Snapshot Music.
You can tune into Performance on Sunday nights at 7:00 pm.
